MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT!!

Lucas just turned 4 months old. Hard to believe, but yet it's happening! He has started to babble a lot and really likes his voice. I have taken on the role of "answering him" in his own language...apparently I do it pretty well because he continues the conversation and gets really excited about it! :)
Tonight, as I was filling in his baby book, he was sitting in his bouncy seat looking at his "friends". All of a sudden he just reached up and pulled the ring that makes the froggy sing. Jacob and I just looked at each other in amazement! He is doing such a great job with his motor skills!!!

We've also been working on him in the Bumbo seat. He does a really good job...and looks super cute too!!

We take him to the doctor on Tuesday for his 4 month check up! Can't wait to see how this little boy is growing!!!

HEY LADIES!!!

Lucas just LOVES to wear nothing but his diaper...seriously the least amout of clothing this kid can wear the better!

I found him striking this pose the other morning as I was preparing his bath...such a ham!!

It warms my heart...

So, I DESPERATELY want to be a SAHM. I will be...someday soon! :) Very excited for that day to come...however, in the meantime...it warms my heart to know that my baby doesn't cry when I drop him off...doesn't ask me to not go (because let's be real, right now he doesn't even know i'm gone) and actually has a GREAT TIME with his cousins while Mommy is working!

Thanks a MILLION times over Aunt Emmy, Uncle Jimbo, Wyatt and Walker! I love you so much!!

LUCAS UPDATE!!!

I know it's been awhile since I posted...and our little man is just growing and growing!!

Here he is at lunch with his first delivery nurse Deb. Deb was such a trooper and spent the first 12 hours with us! When her shift ended, and Lucas wasn't making a quick appearance, she went home (and rightfully so). She was AWESOME and has already agreed to "special" my next delivery! We LOVE Deb!!

I was still on maternity leave when this picture was taken...so Lucas was only 5 weeks old!! He keeps growing and changing on us! His facial expressions are too precious! We just LOVE looking at this little guy. I HAD to dress him up as Santa for Christmas...I mean...what baby DOESN'T look cute as Santa??

We have just had a blast with him and Love him so much!! I think my favorite time of the day with him is morning. He sleeps so well and has allowed us to sleep too, and when we wake him up in the morning...he is full of smiles!!!

He enjoys bath time and has learned to love his infant seat...kindof.

He really is a very content baby! We are SO blessed and love him so much!! He just turned 3 months on January 4th and unofficially he is over 24" and pushing 16lbs!! We get an official check up in Feburary at his 4 month visit!!
